In response to the increasing demand for HIV counseling and testing services, Positive Action Foundation Philippines, Inc. (PAFPI) in collaboration with the Department of Health (DOH) through the Infectious Disease Office (IDO), and STI AIDS Cooperative Central Laboratory (SACCL) will facilitate the conduct of the DOH certification “HIV Counseling to Testing Training (HCtT)” at the Asian Social Institute (ASI) located at 1518 Leon Guinto Street in Malate, Manila. The four(4) days live out training objective is to enhance participants’ knowledge, skills and attitudes in providing HIV counseling including pre and post-test counseling to clients who access this service at the health service facility.
In view of this, PAFPI is now opening its registration for interested facilities and individuals. The first 21 participants who registered will be accommodated. To defray the training cost and operating expenses, participation fees will be charged to the participating facilities.
