#PAFPI successfully held its Organizational Development Workshop at Ramada by Wyndham Manila Central Hotel, Ongpin corner Quintin Paredes Binondo, Manila City on January 26-29, 2024. The #Organizationaldevelopment was attended by Board of Trustees, Management, and project staffs.
#PAFPI endeavors as always to identify an area of improvement in the organization especially in its leadership aspect. Organizational change begins with identifying a need that aligns with business goals, investigating the problem. Organizational development involves an ongoing, systematic, long range process of driving organizational effectiveness.
The 3-day workshop was full of learning through team-building exercises, discussions, and socials among the participants. The OrgDev workshop focused not only in leadership improvement as well as in the important areas in communication skills, change management, conflict resolution, innovation and creativity, values and culture alignment, and feedback and continuous improvement. The activity ended with the most current, not only academic but an industry researched-led lecture of Organizational Development by Prof. Laufred Hernandez, Department of Behavioral Science, College of Arts and Sciences, UP Manila. The lecture paved way to PAFPI’s honest, most updated evaluation and assessment of where the organization is in its organizational development strengths and areas of improvements. Nothing feels like an honest organizational assessment, where strengths became its banner of victories all through out the years under the spirit of genuine volunteerism to care and support the PLHIV community.
